Torrington Ford Winter Pet Donation Drive
Each winter season, Torrington Ford organizes a Pet Donation Drive to benefit Torrington Regional Animal Control, located in Harwinton, Connecticut. This annual initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and caring for animals in need during the coldest months of the year.

We welcome donations from both staff and customers, all of which directly assist the shelter in providing comfort, nourishment, and care to dogs and cats awaiting adoption, relocating their owners or rescue.
Accepted donation items include:
- Collars and leashes
- Blankets and towels
- Dog treats and food
- Cat treats and food
- Food and water bowls
- Toys of all kinds
Every contribution makes a meaningful difference in the lives of animals under the shelter’s care. Torrington Ford is proud to continue this effort each year and thanks everyone who helps support our mission of giving back to the community we serve.

Annual Trunk or Treat Event
Every October, our dealership lot transforms into a Halloween wonderland for our Annual Trunk or Treat! Our staff members decorate cars from our own inventory and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters in a safe, family-friendly environment. Guests can enjoy Halloween-themed games, festive music, cookies, and popcorn — all for free!
We invite everyone to come in costume and join us for an evening full of fun, laughter, and community spirit. It’s one of our favorite traditions of the year!
Jamaican Supply & Food Drive (New for 2025)
In 2025, Torrington Ford proudly launched a Jamaican Supply and Food Drive to support those impacted by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa.
With the help of our generous community, we’ve been collecting essential items — including food, toiletries, and other supplies — to send directly to families in need.
This initiative represents our commitment to compassion without borders, lending a hand to those who need it most.
Annual Friendly Hands Food Drive
Each year, Torrington Ford partners with Friendly Hands Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items for local families experiencing food insecurity.
Our dealership serves as a collection site, and both staff and customers contribute to making the drive a success. Together, we help ensure that our neighbors have access to the meals they deserve — especially during the holiday season.
